Alcohol and mental health statistics

"Alcohol and mental health statistics"Alcohol and mental health statistics. Alcohol has an extreme effect on its users and because of its incredible potent ability to affect the mind and the body simultaneously it’s been called a double-edged sword, which the mind starts to think in a negative capacity it eventually starts to affect the body in a negative way as well. 8.9 million people are treated for mental disorders and drug addiction every year, also 45.1 million people with mental disorders reported binge alcohol drinking that’s four our five drinks a day, that’s huge indication that alcoholism and mental illness are connected to one another and extremely relevant capacity. It’s very difficult to separate these two things from one another because alcohol is a natural depressant, a lot of people don’t understand when you drink alcohol it doesn’t relieve pain but it actually subliminally causes more pain, a lot of people with bipolar disorder realistically shouldn’t drink alcohol, it intensifies the disease making the person even more irrational.
